The bike is ready. He is ready. All it takes for him to jump into a life-saving mode is the next assignment directing him to a location needing his assistance. He is both the pilot and the paramedic. Cutting his way across traffic, he presents himself into scenes of human despair. At times, the challenge of handling an unruly crowd makes his job vulnerable but he says, “My focus is the injured”. Handling over 50 incidents every month, we ask – “What keeps you going?” and the spontaneous response looking deeply back into the eye, the 22 year old says, “An inner satisfaction of helping someone sustain life”
